Your Valley Cities Care Team can help you through it. Crisis Services are in place at Valley Cities to ensure that all of our clients are supported no matter the time of day.

What is the level of your crisis?

If you are in a life-threatening emergency situation, please call 911. If you are experiencing any of the following, please refer to our Crisis Services:

  • Are you feeling intense sadness or fear?
  • Are you experiencing a new symptom that you are not sure how to handle?
  • Are you worried that you may harm yourself or others?
  • Are you not feeling safe?

Daytime Crisis Services

If you are experiencing a crisis during our regular office hours (8:30am to 5pm), please call 253-833-7444 and ask to speak with a member of your Care Team. In the event that they are unavailable, you will be connected to a designated staff member who will help you. You may also walk in to any of our offices during regular office hours.

To help manage your crisis, the person you speak to will:

  • Listen to your concerns.
  • Ask about your crisis plan or WRAP.
  • Help you problem solve.

Families and friends concerned about those receiving services from Valley Cities can also access crisis support services.

After-hours Crisis Services

If you are in crisis and need support outside of regular office hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, you can call our After-hour services at 206-573-5380, or toll-free at 866-427-4747. You will be connected to a live person at the King County Crisis Clinic. You may also go to the nearest Emergency Room.

Valley Cities Peer Support Specialists

Peer Support Specialists are individuals who self identify as mental health consumers, and have received specific training to work with other consumers using their own experience in managing their mental health symptoms. Valley Cities Peers are available during business hours, lead groups, and also staff the WARMLine. Ask a member of your Care Team how to get connected to a Peer Support Specialist.

Do you need a prescription refill?

If you need a refill, contact your pharmacy and they will request a prescription from Valley Cities if necessary. If you have concerns about medication related symptoms, you may contact our Nurse Hotline at 253-277-7473 during office hours.
